You betcha! The event you have been waiting for since June this year is finally here!
If you haven’t been yet, you don’t know what you are missing out on. An event that packs everything in, 1/8 Mile Drag Racing, Camping, Kid’s Activities, Music, Food Stalls, Bar, and a Real Good Time with Amazing People.
This Event is No-prep 1/8 mile racing. No Drag Tree, No Timing, No Speed Recording for registered vehicles only. All starts will be done with custom lights.
Entry is $265 for the weekend. Includes: 1 Passenger and Camping for both people.
Note: A Clubman RACERS license is required for the both driver and passenger (for insurance).
Do you have a car that has shinier paint than your creepy uncles bald head, well we want you in the Quick Street Show and Shine. Free entry when you purchase a spectator ticket. Come along to Kooralbyn Airstrip on November 26th & 27th and collect the OzAid winning trophy plate.
Want to beat the line up at the gate? Well you can pre purchase your spectator and camping tickets online and beat the waiting game.
Camping is available on-site for drivers, crew & spectators. Driver entry includes 2 x adult onsite camping
We will be starting off Saturday morning with “Free Runs”. Line up against anyone in a Head to Head or take a Passenger for a run over the 1/8th mile distance.
During the lunch break there will be an exciting car display, then back into more Free Runs after lunch.
To close the first day off we will be finishing with Powerskids into the Sunset.
Sunday will kick off again with Free Runs until 11am when the High Light of the weekend begins, The Eliminators. The Battle for each of the different classes (below) will run Race by Race until the winner is determined for each class.
The Trophy Presentation is during lunch break.
To finish the incredible weekend more Powerskids for anyone that has tyres left to decimate.
AU/NZ1698 or equivalent Approved Helmet, long sleeve shirt, long pants and enclosed in shoes.
All vehicles racing will need to have current Australian registered and all vehicles will be inspected prior to hitting the strip.
Please note: This is a licensed event and no alcohol may be brought into any part of the venue or grounds. All alcohol consumed at the event must be purchased from the on-site bar, with take-aways available.
Race on the Kooralbyn Airstrip in front of your family and friends. All cars must be registered and street legal. Racers must have an open license and be a member of Racers.
We will be kicking the days off with Passenger and Open Runs where you can line up against anyone in a head to head race over the 1/8th mile distance. Passengers must be over 16.
After lunch on Sunday we will run an eliminator for each of the 5 different classes. We will run class by class in the eliminator until a winner is determined for each class before returning back to “Open runs” for those with a score to settle.
At the end of each day we will clear the track for anyone who wants to try their skills at a power skid.
